The Audi line of vehicles, 100% manufactured in Germany, has a history rich in road rally racing, with extreme durability and reliability. When Audi (owned by VW) released the new, all wheel drive Quattro in 1984, they dominated many races and their popularity grew with their domination in world class events continuing today.
Audi is the only manufacturer that produces 100% galvanized vehicles to prevent corrosion. When the A2 was launched, it was manufactured as 100% all aluminum with the A8 getting an all aluminum frame. Audi was also the 1st company to produce a direct injection fuel system and combine it with a turbo charger. After the A4 was released in 2003 and the A6 in 2004, critics were praising Audi's over BMW's. Welcome to the 21st century, beginning way back in 1994!
