Cadillac has a big secret that's made them the most sought after luxury vehicle in the world. Very simply, it is leading edge design, state of the art engineering and precision manufacturing. Cadillac also has a record number of firsts - the 1st electric starter, the 1st V-8 engine and the 1st to use safety glass to name a few. Their customer's could afford them options and Cadillac responded by listening to their customers.
From tall tailfins with vertical tail lights to wrap around windshields, lots of chrome and of course large V-8 engines, Cadillac has an evolved into an "Art and Science" (A&S) design philosophy.
The 2002 Escalade was the first of the A&S design and is rumored to become their ultra-luxury sedan, followed by the STS & the DTS. Man, what a ride!
